Meet the Lustre Gardens team

We’re a friendly, approachable team of highly skilled gardeners with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Between us, we can solve all your gardening problems and provide the support you need.

Meet Daniel, our Managing Director

“I started Lustre Gardens to create a high quality, reliable company that looks after its customers, their gardens, and its team of gardeners. As a life-long Petts Wood and Bromley resident, I wanted to design a service that local people can rely on. We specialise in offering a reliable and security-conscious service that will work around you.

I love meeting my customers and helping them by finding solutions to their gardening problems. I have a great team behind me to help – we are all horticultural professionals with our own areas of specialism.

I take a professional and thorough approach to gardening work and am committed to protecting the environment. I recycle wherever possible – when I’m not gardening, you’ll often find me woodworking and carving, so I can even put scrap wood to good use!

My top tip to people is always about their lawns. Some customers mow their lawns between gardening visits, so I advise them not to go too short too quickly. Reduce grass length gradually over time until you reach the desired length.”

Meet Emma

“I’m a Gardening Services Operative with Lustre Gardens. I spend my days visiting customers to carry out one-off tasks or regular maintenance work – I live in Bromley so I know the local area well. I have been a member of the team since August 2017 and I love the variety and the challenge of working on different gardens. Before this role, I spent nine years as a caretaker at a private school. This means I’m experienced in grounds maintenance and can easily turn my hand to working on large sites as well. When people hear that I’m a qualified horticulturist and have a degree in agriculture, they often ask me for some interesting facts. Did you know that cutting some shrubs will make them smell different to men and women? The natural world is fascinating!”
